About the Artist

Hi, I'm Lus

"I've spent 18 years learning to see people the way they deserve to be seen."

I'm an illustrator and painter based in Los Angeles. My specialty is animation and caricature — I'm obsessed with capturing the specific way a person carries themselves, the thing that makes them unmistakably them.

I've had the privilege of learning from some of LA's best artists, and I bring that craft to every commission. When you work with me, you're not getting a filter applied to a photo — you're getting a portrait made by someone who genuinely cares about getting it right.
